Istanbul is in the first place
As of the first nine months of 2021, Istanbul was the province most preferred by foreigners for citizenship acquisition on the basis of all real estate types. Antalya, Ankara, Mersin, Yalova, Bursa, İzmir, Muğla, Samsun and Kocaeli followed respectively.
39.39 percent of investments in Istanbul are for citizenship acquisition
Foreign real estate investment in Megakent Istanbul, on the other hand, amounted to 21 thousand 410 as of the first nine months of 2021. It was determined that 39.39 percent of this investment consisted of real estate acquired for citizenship application. In the first nine months of 2021, Iran took the first place in investments in Istanbul for foreigners to acquire citizenship on the basis of all real estate. In the same period, Esenyurt, Beylikdüzü and Başakşehir districts were among the top three in real estate investment preferences in Istanbul for foreigners to acquire citizenship. These districts were followed by Bağcılar, Avcılar, Küçükçekmece, Büyükçekmece, Kağıthane, Zeytinburnu and Fatih, respectively.
