Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) published November 2021 Sectoral Confidence Indices. Accordingly, while the Confidence index decreased in the services sector, it increased in the retail trade and construction sectors.
In the construction sector , the index, which was 92.7 in October, was realized as 93.6 points in November. Sectoral confidence indices can take values in the range of 0-200, if the index is higher than 100, it indicates the optimism of the sector for the current and future periods, and if it is below 100, it indicates pessimism. Seasonally adjusted confidence index in November compared to October; While it decreased by 0.7% in the service sector, it increased by 0.6% in the retail trade sector and 1.0% in the construction sector.
