As of the first nine months of 2021, Istanbul was the province most preferred by foreigners for citizenship acquisition on the basis of all real estate types. Antalya, Ankara, Mersin, Yalova, Bursa, İzmir, Muğla, Samsun and Kocaeli followed respectively.
39.39 percent of investments in Istanbul are for citizenship acquisition
Foreign real estate investment in Megakent Istanbul, on the other hand, amounted to 21 thousand 410 as of the first nine months of 2021. These districts were followed by Bağcılar, Avcılar, Küçükçekmece, Büyükçekmece, Kağıthane, Zeytinburnu and Fatih, respectively.
